We’ve designed and launched a luxury B&B concept; Manoir du Moulin, in the Loire in France, which is ranked #1 on Trip Advisor since opening. We’ve concepted the future of retail for Jo Malone; created several recipe boxes of up-and-coming flavour concepts for Givaudan; delivered a blueprint for the interior of the future car for Telefonica; and crafted the brand identity and story of one of the fastest growing medical software companies in the world – Populus. Streative Live Lab sessions have been held in major cities all over the world, in unknown hidden hideaways in the country, at chateaux, personal homes, lofts and public spaces. To support this growing service, in 2011, Streative purchased, designed and renovated an 18th century Manor house in the Loire region of France which acts as an off-site sister space to our Amsterdam HQ, and hosts offline Live Lab workshops for our international clients.
Our process? We import the world’s top talent via our network of Moles, Mavens, Makers and Mavericks to hatch market-changing innovation. The client joins us on-site for an open, collaborative 3 to 4 day session filled with high level strategic discussions, discovery, concept crafting, critiquing, blueprinting and developing. It’s a magical way of working that’s quick, cost effective, and highly disruptive to industry status quo.

Our Work
Online, offline, multi-tasking, networked consumerism. This is the 21st century business model. This is Streative. We collaborate with our extensive network of street-level influencers and their personal networks to gather, digest, deconstruct, synthesize and deliver. Then we unpack our intelligence in tailor-made documents and a whole menu of auxiliaries like customized design projects, informative lectures and ‘Live Lab’ brainstorm and concept sessions, new business niche studies, brand communication tools, documentary films, and the list goes on….
Aside from our day-to-day online innovation processes, we hold Streative Live Lab sessions in major cities all over the world and in every kind of space. In 2011, Streative purchased and renovated an 18th century Manor House in France to support this growing service. In this off-site, sister space to our Amsterdam HQ, we host offline Live Lab workshops for our International clientele, who have helped us prove this model works. Manoir du Moulin also operates as a luxury B&B. Since its opening in 2012, MDM has consistently held the # 1 spot on Trip Advisor for the Pays de Loire region in France and been honored with awards of Excellence by iEscape, Trip Advisor, Le Figaro and the London Times.
Streative has created the brand story, identity and all marketing collaterals including the website for HiS provider; Populus Global Solutions. Streative introduced a quick turn-around, Live Lab concept for the design of the brand which is a co-creation methodology on site at Manoir du Moulin. Six creatives, the client, industry professionals and a 4-day, intensive creation process led CEO Tristan Rutter, to state 'Streative's Live Lab process was the most monumental week in the history of the life of the brand'.
A monthly, highly visual, topically changing, ten-page global staff newsletter based on insights from Streative Mole reports from around the world. Streative then activated these insights straight from the street into tangible recommendations and innovation solutions across Skype management, brand, interface and innovation teams.
Streative also concepted and designed Skype's yearly, global management meetings which included creating the event identity, agenda, guest speaker list, corporate videos, creative workshop sessions and more.
Nike Women came to Streative to ask for help to crack the future strategy of their business. Sales in this defining category were faltering and they needed to understand why. We were enlisted to help craft a future plan. As a first step we collected insights from our female Moles and Mavens across 4 continents. We then published a hugely popular Nike 'Web of Women' Molezine detailing not only our insight findings but designing next step insight-to-action brand, product and service concepts. We then held a series of Live Lab workshops to unpack our findings. Streative's Makers and Mavericks (top female designers, strategists, expert fitness gurus and concept thinkers) delivered a next step plan that became the roadmap for Nike women for the following three years.
Streative was asked to get close with Levi's target consumers in five international markets. We concepted and created the Levi’s Denim Diaries Blog; a searchable internal blog displaying layered insights by demographic, age, topic and location. The consumer recruitment, briefings, insight analysis and topical editorial schedule were all developed and managed by Streative as were recommendations, next steps and project insight to action plan.
To date, Streative has created or prototyped over 100 mobile and software design concepts including the award winning O2 Cocoon which won several global design awards. Streative has recruited, creative directed and co-created with 10 different global design teams to activate our consumer insights and develop relevant, timely consumer products, services and innovations. Our insight work for O2 is vast yet daringly detailed and has covered such broad reaching topics as Home Convergence, Women & Technology, Connected Communities, Mobile Messaging and Mobile Design.
An online, in-depth, visual, customised trend and insight report for Telefonica global management teams. Monthly changing, bespoke topics briefed by division and unpacked by Streative Moles in 8 different countries. Our insight and strategic recommendations are designed and profiled via a textured, blog-style format.
Streative’s been co-creating with Bacardi’s innovation and marketing teams for over 4 years. Our work began with global insight research on trending consumer drinks and ingredients. Via our co-creation processes we’ve analyzed the insights, extracted and created future recipe concepts, taste tested, worked with expert flavour houses, and profiled the top future brand product for Bacardi to launch. We recruited and creative directed a team of over 50 collaborators from California to Tokyo for the launching of a new cocktail culture for Bacardi and helped the team to land the Mojito, Caipirinha and Bacardi Bespoke concepts globally.
A five country product scan of the beverage, salad and wrap market followed by strategic design, innovation and future product development recommendations.
When Rituals wanted to ignite new life in to a dying product category, they asked for Streative’s help.
We set up a team in Thailand to research Thai rituals, beauty and bath products, spa services and product ingredients, flavours and scents. The result; 200 pages of new product concepts richly based on authentic Thai culture and for Rituals; a new product line offering of 6 bath and beauty products
Jo Malone turned to us to co-create their future retail concepts. Over the course of our 3-year relationship, together with an International team of 5 design collectives, Streative showcased a whole new store identity, photography guidelines, window displays, packaging concepts, staff training programs, community building initiatives and an entirely new product line targeted to Jo Malone’s little sister; Black Ribbon.
Streative collaborated with Philips on the development of a new women's skincare technology.
Our naming strategy, graphic identity, image tool kit, launch materials and website content were built on a brand platform based on female Skin Stories and launched in the US market.
Streative researched 48 new flavour ingredients for this food flavour manufacturer and delivered the trends plus the new ingredient combinations in a recipe box filled with insights, chef interviews, restaurant menus and desk research from Barcelona, Paris, London, Berlin, Warsaw and Amsterdam
UPC and Streative joined forces 10 years ago and we're happy to say, were one of our very first clients. Our mutual goal? To inspire and educate staff on consumers needs and desires. We embarked on a 'Journey Home' and launched our first online, monthly consumer insight publication. Via a series of hosted and moderated Live Lab workshops across Europe we unpacked our insight findings with UPC management and set to work on establishing next steps actions for the brand.
Nike asked us to come up with a strategic consumer concept and identity for a worldwide corporate responsibility project. The multi-platform concept Streative created called Game Changers, included competitive events, guerrilla marketing, TV, on-line social networking, micro financing and sponsored athletes. Game Changers empowers and enables underprivileged youth to change the game in their community via sport. This project was conceived via Streative’s co-creation platform and collaboration methodologies.
As part of our ongoing development of the Populus brand and product development, Streative and our team of Makers have recently developed an animated film to introduce the new product launch of Populus Plus.
